Bmw e39 headlight help

Recommended Posts

Just changed my angel eye bulbs to white, and wanting to change my stock headlight bulbs from yellow to white.

Whats the best way in doing this?

Would I just need to change the bulbs or would a xenon hid kit be better?

The best way would be a factory xenon kit. That's not necessarily the cheapest option tho. :P

Pound for pound xenon produce clearer, whiter light. If you only care about the "look" a good aftermarket blub which would be alot less headaches and $ than a xenon kit & may get you there.

Not sure of the legality of the aftermarket kits on tardeme....someone else may want to comment here.

At the end of the day you don't want to reduce your headlight performance or fail wof checks so make sure you only buy quality parts.

IMO - I switched my high beams to Phillips Extreme power +80% and they were a huge improvement over factory.

Aftermarket HID's are illegal

As Darren said - go for Philips Extreme, Hella Ultra or similar.
