colsi991 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2011 (edited) Hi BMW 530i 2003 E39 Auto I broke down in the middle of Dominion Road in Auckland yesterday due to a transmission malfunction. The error displayed says TRANS FAILSAFE ... it still clicks into Reverse howeevr I cannot get it into Drive, 1 2 3 4 etc. Does anyone know if there is an easy fix or if there are any garages in auckland that can help me get this sorted and what is an estimate of the cost?
