Removing Grinding Splatter from a Windscreen

Anyone had any success with a DIY method, I'd assume a glass shop could fix this, but free is good.

Looks like i've f**ked it anyway, right in the drivers line of sight too so prob WOF fail, time for a replacement.

Yup. The grinding sparks tend to f**k the laminate, and never really clean off. My rear window is totally covered in tiny burns.

Best bet is to use a fire blanket to prevent it happening in the first place
