Guest Andrew Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Hi - Our m20 525 1989 E34 is having some issues. When my dad drove it to work - the radio died and reset it self. He then jumped out the car and locked it and couldn't get back in. I told him how to do the emergency open and that worked. Anyhow - now the electric windows, radio, interior lights don't work when you open the door (but the lights all work when you manually switch them). Checked all fuses (and the ones under rear seat) all seem fine. We looking over the Bentleys manual (rather dad is i'm too lazy so i'd post on bimmersport). Is there a general relay or something like that which just goes wrong? Cheers
Guest Andrew Report post Posted May 4, 2005 at this stage we are suspecting the "general module" we have another e34 to give to swap them out with. ain't no relays in the "general module" damn ICs and sh*t.. stupid E34s.
Guest Andrew Report post Posted May 4, 2005 Alright - it is the GM. Brent do you have a General Module for an E34 1989? Cheers, Andrew (tis the big one under the rear seat that says GM)
