E39 Windscreen Washer Jet

Recommended Posts

Both E39's I have owned failed in this area.

In both cases it was the motor - easy enough to swap out.

Get someone to operate the switch while you listen and/or feel the motor to see if it has seized.

Depending on year, the motor from the intensive clean is the same, so you can swap and loose the intensove clean for a free repair, or buy a new motor.

From memory, new motor from Jeff Grays was around $100, you can probably do better from some of the parts guys on here.
