Ipod queries.

Hey all, having a bit of trouble with my ipod and itunes, as i have swapped laptops i've had to change over my itunes account and all the music etc, i've autherised the new computer so that was all fine and good but now for some reason all the new songs i've added since don't seem to be syncing to the ipod? Has anyone had this trouble or had to change computers etc?

does it give you the "ipod is syncing don't disconnect, sync is complete" messages?

Yep, still syncs as per, does the whole process.

Does the music play on the new laptop?

You could try taking the music off the IPOD by using a program like Senuti (trial version allows free transfer of 1,000 songs) and putting them in a new folder, removing the songs from your iTunes (keep the files in a separate folder) and then put the songs from your iPod into iTunes and then add your other songs.

Starting afresh usually sorts Apple issues in my experience..

Is the actual issue the new songs that you've added after getting the new laptop won't go onto the iPod?

Another fix could be in your preferences that you don't have it set to sync "ALL MUSIC"

Yep all the music including the new songs still play on the laptop, when i first initially transfered all the music to the new comp i had to overcome some other faults by down loading sharepod, but that somehow duplicated all the music onto itunes so that was a pain in the arse remeding that, i don't seem to have it set to sync all music, even though it seems to do so, i'll try that.

Ha, cheers Tristan, just had to go into "my ipod" and check all music, apparently it was still thinking it was using the previous computer, all sorted, cheers.
