barracuda83 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) hey guys does anyone know why my gear selection panel LED (Park) is always on in the central console by the lever? Even when my car has keys out, locked and sitting for hours. or is it meant to be like that? If so what a waste of battery power. *Glenn* 854 Report post Posted May 1, 2011 It should only stay on for approx 20 minutes after the car is locked when all the ECU's should be in sleep mode. Will come back on when you unlock the car. If it stays on all the time there will be voltage discharge somewhere which can cause the battery to keep going flat and will need diagnosing. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
