dealer

Forget that.

600 bucks for a five minute job with a 150 dollar part?

No thanks.

If you want minimal hassel - dealers

I've read that you can use a normal O2 sensor (maybe from Jap brand cars as long as they are OBD I or II whatever you car is currently), chop the connector off, solder the connector from the old sensor and reuse.

BMW sensors cost upwards of $150+, standard sensor is probably 1/3 cheaper. All that it is difference is the connector.

Hope that helps.

Thats what I mean, buy the part from the dealer and then install it yourself. How hard can it be its only a sensor.
