scott_e30 8 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 Im wanting to hook up my amp to my existing stock headdeck in an e46. My amp has an external bass control on it. btccm3 1 Report post Posted June 12, 2011 (edited) iv done it many times at work its very easy. you buy a high level input"speakers" to RCA adapter then simply T into the wires of two speakers behind the factory H/U. Then from the adapter run your RCAs and use the 12volt accessory wire at the H/U as your remote wire for the amp. easy... or you could just buy a fusion pre amped sub inclosure or tube sub as they already have high level inputs on the amp attached if you want to buy one of those adapters we sell them at my work not sure on price but we do have them in stock always.
