Jedan71 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 E36 318i Auto M43 Engine: A problem that is causing me massive headache, also going to hit the wallet big time, I desperately need help! The car stutters whilst driving @ 1700 - 2500 rpm and can stall when the revs drop at stopping. The problem doesnt really occur when fuel is greater than appx 1/2 tank or greater. Only occurs when warm. Diagnostic machine at garage shows no faults. Recent water pump change. CCV/PSV valve changed. Inlet manifold all cleaned. Changed fuel pump as though fuel related but fault came back 2-3 days after change. When driving @ steady 2k -> 2.5k revs, on the fuel comsumption gauge pulses and driving up hill the car feels like it is pulsing. Please Help me! BM WORLD 1275 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 faulty air flow meter?? have the spark plug leads been checked??(oil in the holes ,cracks in the rubber etc) also check for water in the ecu box etc. is it parked on a hill?? left side down?? massive vac leak??
