jay^ 1 Report post Posted August 10, 2011 HI everyone, second issue for me now - for some reason the left hand indicator bulb and the right hand side main 3W bulb are not lighting up. Ive removed the cluster and switched the indicator bulbs and 3W bulbs from the other side .... no change - the bulbs in question dont light up. IE it doesn't "seem" to be faulty bulbs. Im considering just replacing all of the bulbs with new ones anyway just to rule that out completely but its seems unlikely to be the issue. Im assuming its probably some sort of contact issue on the inside of the cluster - is it a stupid idea to think about opening the cluster and checking out the contacts ?? Any advise most appreciated. Cheers.

Not if you feel confident. You would need to firstly check if you are loosing the earth or the power supply and go from there. You might find a break or bad connection. Considering it's effecting two different bulbs, iI would suggest its an earth problem.
