topcat 11 Report post Posted August 19, 2011 (edited) now that the e28 turbo is 99% finished its time to think of the next project.. got this sitting under the desk for the last few weeks. got several engines/cars to play with so everything is optional theres a nice e34 finishing tonight on TM in christchurch, but not enough funds to buy and install,so we will have to wait for another. so,Q is, what engine should i fit this puppy to/in e34 m30? old tech but plenty of room to play, and they go good with alittle boost e36 m50? tight engine bay,but that just adds to the fun e34/e39 m60? havent lifted the lid on one yet, maybe have a gander tomorrow intercooler is a must.probably/most likely water to air kits are definately an option, when that is,thats another matter votes? cheers m Edited August 19, 2011 by BM Weapon
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted August 19, 2011 With the old Eaton M90 roots blowers, definitely run a water-alcohol injection kit, makes it savers, get you more power and also counters needing an intercooler on a low boost setup. These kits have been well proven by a few guys I know. WWW.Devilsown.com I vote E34 M30

No name user 379 Report post Posted August 19, 2011 things to consider, itll take about 40hp off which ever motor you chose to run to make 10psi@12000 rpm blower speed you should never ever use water alky injection to compinsate for a poor setup, yes it helps but should never relie on it you may see 200kw from it ( based on setups ive done anyway) the m112 would be a better pick. if its just for shits and giggles they work fine but it wont compare to your turbo setup you did, as for engine the m30 since they dont rev to much past 6k.
