E30 Slide valve (prefacelift cold idle up valve)

Hi all,

I'm looking for a prefacelift E30 idle up valve for a 320i, this is the bit under the intake manifold which has two water hoses and two air hoses going into it. Its like a little thermostat the idles the engine up when cold.

I'm sure someone knows what I mean,

Are you sure it's the valve and not just a blocked coolant hose or fitting that goes to the valve??

Hi Glenn, yes I'm sure. It was all 100% clean before being put together and the coolant lines are getting warm.

I still need one if someone has one, cheers

Bump. The used one I got the other day doesn't close properly either, even with a good dousing in CRC.

Someone must have one of these lieing around,
