m325i 709 Report post Posted May 22, 2005 Are there any seats that can easily be fitted to an e30? Do you need a cert to change your seats? e30 sport seats are good, but if you could slap in some modern GSR seats say, that would be better i reckon. Latter BMW seats fit? Or is it all a mission/big $$$? I don't weld btw.

m325i 709 Report post Posted May 23, 2005 I hate full on branded race seats. So do e36 seats bolt right in? Or is their fabrication involved? I'd love some STI seats, (with no 'sti').

Gus 5 Report post Posted May 23, 2005 if you have money to spend, what i would do would be to get the e30 seats recovered, and also have the foam replaced with something firmer....that would feel awesome..nice time for black suede too
Surge 1 Report post Posted May 25, 2005 The ones I just picked up (BMW Sports seats, Not recaros - BMW SPORTS SEATS... Recaro didn't actually make them..) from a 88 320i are definately fimer than the older ones out of my old car... So very comfy.... If anything I'd get them covered in leather.
