gunter 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2011 Hi Guys, I've got a 88' 325i that strangely cuts out on bumps. I'm not entirely sure what causes it but I replace the ECU with a 173 a couple of months ago thinking it'd cure a common ECU fuel problem but apparently that wasn't the problem. Any ideas what it could be? Cheers

OP6 27 Report post Posted August 30, 2011 Check your fuses and relays are fitting tightly, then check your earths. Failing that start looking for worn wiring.

oscar90 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2011 all the sh*t roads have probably shaken something loose! I had 2 loose connectors under my dash/steering colum a while back.. everything just dies engine dash etc..clicked them back in properly and I haven't had a problem since, so may pay to check everything under there since it's easy
