Brake needs to push right to the floor to operate, FIXed

e21, As I bought it, the brake light is on and the brakes need to push to the floor to operate.

After bleeding all 4 wheels, also replaced 1 of the rear cylinders.

it still feel pretty much the same.

I don't see any leaks as the reservor is still full.

any ideas?

update!!

after bleeding the front brake it fixed!!!

the owners manual says pretty much just leaking or adjust the rear brakes.

also mention brake system union loss, what does it mean?

How are you bleeding the brakes? With a vacuum unit or manually by pumping the pedal etc? Ive always bled the brake system at every joint in the brake system that i can get to, but thats my personal preference. (its a brake system and its worth getting right)

The union loss basically means the connections to the master cylinder, bias valves and pipe connections.

you could try bleeding from the reservoir to the closest union and then move outwards to every caliper/cylinder.(furthest from the reservoir last).

You may have issues with your brake master cylinder. Might be worth borrowing a vacuum bleeder/pressure bleeder if you can get your hands on one.

will need to double check there is so much stock to go through .

stock list says there is a repair kit for a e21 .

but i think i saw master cylinders as well .

will double check next week
