e46 driver reclining seat problem

Hi there, I just have a small, quite irritating problem. My seat is reclined to the worst possible position, its probably at an exact 90 degree angle maybe 80 degrees. Its very uncomfortable to drive like this.

The recliner wont go back or forth. Its just stuck. All other functions in the seat work. It tilts fine, it goes back and forth horizontally. When I press the button to recline backwards all I can hear is the motor moving, but no motion. Its just completely stuck. Im not sure if the problem is with the motor or what? I thought about buying a right front electric power seat motor from ebay, but I just want to know if anyone has any other suggestions that it could be? I dont even enjoy driving it..

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Unplug the car battery (very important), unbolt and unplug the seats airbag system and drive motor control looms and take a look at the drive machinsm of the recliner motor. Its not too complicated.

Pretty sure Ray/hellbm will have the spare parts youll need.
