stud pattern/ offset

i know on my car its 4 stud lol... but would any1 know the offset and any other details to do with the car wheels ?? its a 318is e30 1990

If you've got after market wheels then you'll need to take the wheels off and have a look what's stamped on them.

I've got 7" rims with et21 which is borderline

I'm just gonna post a guide as this topic is ALWAYS popping up, correct me if you think it should be something else but these are my opinions:

E30

et35 => 6" (bottlecaps)

et32 => 6.5"

et28 => 7"

et24 => 7.5"

et20 => 8"

mm, i have the standard 14 inch i think on them at the moment but iam looking at buying some new wheels is what iam getting at
