E30 Window Switch Wiring

Recommended Posts

Hi,

After the wiring that goes from the centre console window switches to where ever it goes.... (to the plug box on the left hand side I assume?, or directly to the windows?)

I assume someone knows more than me on this... Haven't had time to check where they run on the fronts.

I'm putting electric windows into the back of the car (came with wind ups)

I've got the motors + mech and the door panel already had the plug for the motor and the switch - So it obviously was an option back in 1986 for all electrics.

Thanks for the help in advance.

All the optional electrics plug in behind the glove box. The plugs are all keyed, so you can't fit them into the wrong socket. The plug shapes change over the years, so to make things easy on yourself try and use parts from the same or similar years.

Thanks Graeme,

In that case I'm specifically after a electric window loom (from the centre console to the plug behind the glovebox) for a 86 SA E30 (I assume any e30 of this year would work)

Hi Graeme,

Any update on the availability of this accessory electric rear window loom?

Cheers,

James
