My 540 is idling a bit rough in the mornings, I warm it up and it's seems to come right - is this common? (and not a major problem)

Mine does the same and if you gently let your foot off the brake it judders untill you give it some gas. I think its a vacuum leak that I have....

I also get this occasional slight loss in power when cruising around the 100 mark and a slight hiss that goes with it from the passenger side of the engine bay. On very slight pressure of the peddle It lasts for a second or two then goes back to running normal. As soon as i press the gas more than a toe press it doesnt happen.

I think its my throttle body gasket that is leaking.

The rough idle is noticeably bad on windy days here in wellington.

before guessing, see your local specialist,

make sure he scans the car and does live data

other items can be checked at the same time
