samo455 7 Report post Posted January 9, 2012 OK i have been confusing many mechanics with this one my car has a hartage exhaust system engine to tip looks factory but probably not it has no 02 sensor and no hole to put 1 in there is a plug next to the tranz but it has what looks like a factory cap/cover over it like it has never been used now there seems 2 be a listing for a sensor but even on a scan tool there has never been any fault codes to say oxy sensor fault so maybe it dose not have it on this model the scan tool can test the relay and u can here it click but no fault comes back engine light has never come on i have never seen any fuel smoke but it dose smell rich and it is very hungry on gas the plug has 4 wires and the parts place i deal with says it has a 3 wire o2 listed does it need 1 or not any help would be great soon as u say bmw up north u get told to try somewhere els chers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
