WANTED325iM 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2005 Hey whats up guys, I thinking of getting some mags for my car. I've narrowed it down to : 17" Alpina's or 94 onwords 17" 8 - series mags. I'm leaning towards the 8series mags cus they look just like the 15" basketweeves that are on it at the moment but have a deeper dish. And I think i'll have to get two fronts cus of the width. Any ideas? Are these mags hard to get? Will the offset be right? car is a 1991 - 5stud M325is E30 Heres a picture of the mags i'm talkin aboutMean mags <hr>

bravo 35 Report post Posted June 21, 2005 I prefer the Alpinas. Are these mags hard to get? Not if you are prepared to pay for them. They are not cheap.
Guest Spargo Report post Posted June 22, 2005 Those are Style 5's, more commonly seen on E39's. Theyr'e the right offset, centrebore is wrong, need hub rings. They're an ET20 rim = exactly the same as your E30 M3 suspension. 17x9" IIRC.

WANTED325iM 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2005 Mean, so they can fit. Only problem is price, I rang BMW and they reckoned 980+gst each mag. f**kin BMW's STUPID prices.

E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted June 23, 2005 The E31's wheels are 17x8 et10 for the front & 17x9 et19 for the rear. As Sam said the E39 ones will need hub centering rings (you can get them from YHI). I think those are 18x8's on the M3. FYI The E39 wheels come in 17 & 18x8 et20 front and 17 & 18x9 et24&26 rear.
