deeveus 81 Report post Posted March 5, 2012 Had to go and have a look once I'd finished work tonight, looks epic in person! Can't get over the size of the brakes and calipers & the fact it needs 2x latches for the bonnet to keep it nailed down! The one picks up the birds too! Michael. 2313 Report post Posted March 5, 2012 It's a shame the motors don't look that impressive when they get all that turbo stuff thrown on them, especially with this quirky new reverse head design. Ok yes they perform nicely, but I like a motor to look decent without big lazy covers all over them. Gone are the days of intake runners being a classic feature of the engine layout I think (like I6 M3s etc..)

deeveus 81 Report post Posted March 5, 2012 I will say the plastics under there seemed incredibly thin but seemed to be quite rigid. The instruments in the dash looked like an LCD screen too, everything is clean and modern & you it felt light years ahead of my E53 or an E90 - even though it's only 5-6 years difference getting back into my X5 seemed like I was going back in time to the early 1800's
