turner101 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2012 (edited) hi, im new to bimmersport and this is my first post. i am currently looking at purchasing my first bmw, a e46 325i So after doing some research on the cars i see it will be due for a large service, (inspection 1 & 2) i think. please correct me if im wrong. what i would like to know is how much should i expect to pay for this service? i was thinking around $1000 - $1200 because i see some of the belts and waterpump needs to be done? also if anybody can tell me where i can find a service manual would be much appreciated. Michael. 2313 Report post Posted June 16, 2012 Probably 2k at least, normally repair shops (depending on how they operate) will find other stuff that also could be worth doing and try bill you for that on top of the work you wanted done. Might be best to take it to some of the independent workshops recommended through this website, at least you will get an honest opinion and quality work.
