Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted June 22, 2012 I am looking at getting an e39 wagon but unfortunately it doesn't have a tow bar. Have spoken with ray and the sedan ones don't work and I would imagine finding a second hand one would be hard. Has anyone had one made at a bar shop? Have rung a few places and the prices are so all over the place it makes me wonder where they get the pricing from. Any help would be mint.
hybrid 1043 Report post Posted June 22, 2012 Two options that the dealers used Best bars (not removible) http://www.bestbars.co.nz/ And Westfalia http://www.westfalia-automotive.de/index.php?id=home&L=1 The Westfalia removible bars aren't made for motorsport/m5 bumper without getting the ugly rear valance flap. beemn 50 Report post Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) ^Yeah rang them, trade price is bloody cheap. Did you have to use that VMTI thing? I got mine from best bars, bigger rating, and almost the same as the BMW towbar I had on the 530 and grant made up my wiring with relays etc. but the tow bar was $800 all up with mobile fitting and excluding "convertaball" Edited June 28, 2012 by beemn
