OP6 27 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 Was checking the ball joints on my 1997 E36 328 and I'm pretty positive that my car has E30 control arms. We have a couple of E30 325's and the control arms and ball joints on them, look identical to those on the E36. Is this some sort of suspension improvement or a cost cutting measure? To convert back to E36 arms do all the bushes need to be changed over too?
euroriffic 609 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 They are identical apart from the outter ball joint. Youl notice the e36 has a rubber mount underneath it which is ment to give it a better ride at the cost of sharper handling. Thats why alot of guys run the e30 lower arms

Thank you. Will go for the slightly sharper handling.
