e28 M5 or M535i information

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests. I might be flying to Sydney to have a look at one, anything to look out for?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, it was only an M535i, although Mike and the owner led me to believe it was an M5 - very confusing.

There's a picture of it in the latest Intermaque sprints photos thread, very tidy car.

Funnily enough, he had a backfire which blew the intake pipe right off the AFM aswell as the ICV pipe off and made the car run like sh*t.

If you're going to have a look at them i'd suggest taking a rap sheet of things to check off. Get some pointers from the maintenance threads, you may have to scan back through the history to find the relevant info but it'd be worth it.
