tobester 9 Report post Posted July 17, 2012 My E28 has had a replacement exhaust at some stage. I'm not convinced its a good match for the M30B34; not very smooth and feels a bit choked. Factory, I believe it's twin piped all the way, but on the car atmo the centre muffler was replaced with two Cobys, then there's a 2-1 joiner, then a single s bend around the diff and a single in, single out rear box. Thinking about replacing the rear box with a twin in, twin out of some description, preferably w chrome tips, and resurrecting twin piping back to the Cobys. Alternatively, I guess I could buy the whole cat back package cos it comes with all the plumbing, but the prices start to get out there. Anyone got some gear, or know someone who has?
