_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted July 28, 2012 I know that hose number 6 in this picture connects to Part 6 in this picture (which is the throttle heating element according to real OEM) but which tube is it on the heating element that it connects to? there apears to be one two on one side and one on the other. the other tube on the left hand side of that picture is the coolant, and the output is coolant as well, i just dont want to mix the crank case and collant up obviously! they look like they are different sizes in that picture, but they arent in real life. If someone can have a look at their M40B18 or M40B16 engine id appreciate it! have just done the temperature sender which means the whole intake manifold has to come off on the M40 engine. argh. _ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted July 28, 2012 cheers for that! have just tackled it from another direction and realoem provides a picture of the complete cooling system including a pipe going to the port you didn't circle, which means you are right for the crank case. Thanks for your help!
