Garryg 5 Report post Posted July 31, 2012 Hi All... Wonder if you can help? My daughter finally bout another car... not a BM, but a VW (Golf VR6). She only bought it last night, but when she got it home I had a quick drive in it.... Overall it doesn't seem to bad, but the change between 1st and 2nd on the auto is quite harsh. Is this something that can be fixed easily, if so how? Also seems to be pulling slightly to the left...might be tracking? Any help will be appreciated..I'm just hoping she has not wasted her cash... BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted July 31, 2012 used to work at a wreckers and we did vw and audi etc used to sell every vw and audi trans we could get our hands on. we had a full time trans guy rebuilding and fixing them all too. common to fail , small and not built very strong. and know one services them some times is was the electrics that was at fault , but mostly they where all worn out etc Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
