e34535i. 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2012 hay guys, parked up my 535i on sunday evening to give it a clean ( interior only ) and now it wont start. checked and cleaned all spark plugs/ then checked for spark by taking plug no1 out whilst connected and its showing spark. i took the intake off and have sprayd gas down in and it runs that way. When i turn it over i can hear the fuel pump, but its not starting. any ideas would be apreciated heaps. thanks. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
BM WORLD 1283 Report post Posted August 9, 2012 check you have fuel coming out at the fuel line take one of hoses off and crank it. mayeb your ecu has died ( water got in ) also check the 2 realys in teh ecu box they often fail , swap them out for some others Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
