Rack and pinion conversion into e24 ideas

Hi Guys, Have just fitted new headers into my project and decided it was time to think about the steering as well.. has anyone attempted a conversion on an e24 635csi coupe to rack and pinion, and if so what model should i use..

david lawrence tried oin his e28 535 i race car , not sure where he got with it ,

the early e24 is sleightly different front end to the later e24 and e28 type.

Yes, mine is different, sway bar at front, but will look into it with Dave.. cheers
