looking for ideas for exhaust tips

not that keen on DTM tips cos andy has them, but i do like

possibly large oval/square single

like dual square ones, like old exhaust

dual rounds ok, but a bit boring

any more ideas peoples? post some pics up, give me some ideas.

look mean, especially on m tec one, dual round tips look like sloppy peices of poo :puke: especially on mtec 1

I like my DTMs - not too extreme and nice large pipe. You should rock them gus - will look diff being mtech1 and mtech2.

Gus has an mtech2 btw for everyone who thought he got mtech1.

You might want to check out the auctions this guy won in the last couple of weeks.

He actually won an entire 850 twin exhaust with two sets of Remus tips for a competely ridiculous sum of money......85 bucks to be exact.

Now less than two weeks later he has the balls to break them up and have one set of tips on for 350 and the resonator for 120!

I went into two muffler shops to get new twin tips on the car, and both shops told me that the tips they sell are too long so i have two options,

1/ have the tip sticking hell out

2/ shorten the pipe that connects to the muffler

So does anyone know where i can get some shorter twin tips?

Well i don't know how its sticking way out when its only 5" long?

I had similar problem.

Solution was to get new pipe from the muffler. Or cut the tip ro make it smaller.

That already is cutting the current pipe off straight from the muffler and re-weld it onto the muffler... still sticker way out ....

the twin tips are too long to put at the end of a standard you have to modify the pipe before the muffler or go with a single tip, and for a litle bit more than the price of the tips you cou;d fit a stainless polished twin tip muffler...
