eschey 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) Trademe Is this a good price for the condition? What are people's opinions on e36 318is vs e30 318is or e36/46 318i motorsport? Are they a worthwhile car or is it easier to get a 325/328i coupé. It would be a daily driver, not looking to mod it performance wise or anything. I'm over in Aussie at the moment buy will be heading back to NZ probably in a year's time. I'm thinking about purchasing something if a decent deal comes up and storing it at friends/parents until I'm back (I'd also have to figure out how to hide it from the wife . . .). jjs 64 Report post Posted September 3, 2012 For some reason your link doesn't work. The 318is is a good choice, but get the 1.9 motor (same as Z3) and wait for a NZ new manual one
eschey 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2012 Link is fixed. There's actually two I'm interested in, though the second has higher k's. 318is number 2 Both NZ new and manual, one has the 1.8 and one has the 1.9. Why should I look for a 1.9 motor, more reliable/power/economy?

The one you have linked looks nice, but overpriced IMHO
