5amchris 45 Report post Posted September 22, 2012 Hay guys, Was weekend i finished work and let out to start my car and started fine just like every other day, But i got the check engine light blinking on my dash, Looked down to the OBC and i was blank didn't even have the time. Ended up getting a BMW tech down to have a play and he couldn't get it going. Found a dead fuse that fixed the OBC and removed the Check Engine light but still wouldn't start, Just get the dash lights and nothing out. Went home got my second key and boom that worked everything started just fine and it didn't have any faults or lights again till today, I started the car again and got the check engine light the OBC and air con wouldn't start. Once again shut it down and found out the same fuse has poped. This time the key still works but i now have a ABS light. Sounds crazy i know but wondering what you guys think it might be? a simple sort in the wiring? And can you get the old keys working again, Reprogrammed or something?
