Tristan 338 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 They claim the difference is night and day, the 3 settings seem like a bit of a fad. Does anybody have an knowledge of the effectiveness of these units? http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1878-spr...r-2001-bmw.aspx

dreadful1 7 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 I've had a read up on these too and apparently it's just the same if you drive around with your foot a bit heavier, not worth the money IMO.
M5V8 337 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 i'd say it works like the sport button in my M5. Snappier throttle response when pushed. (probably why it's not available for my model car) You can feel the difference. However in normal driving I find it makes you really have to concentrate on throttle input for a smooth ride. It's really sensitive so I don't bother with it. If you track your car it might be worth a go. Not sure if it would be worth that $ tag tho.
