58rabbit 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2012 Was wondering if anyone has or can give me the part number for the transmission cooling fan for an e39. mine has broken off one of the vanes and when it starts up makes an awful racket. I have looked on the realoem site but does not show it as a part. 58rabbit 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2012 Hey thanks, that looks like the one but I thought it was for the transmission as we don't use the air and this fan starts up when the transmission gets loaded up, like when I'm towing.
