Garryg 5 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Hi All, Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good car detailer? I have what i would call a good base to work with, ie. it's already clean (or what i think is clean) and it also has quite a good shine, but not showroom or show condition...I'm sure this can be improved. Howick/Pakuranga/East TAmaki would be great. Cheers

I got a very reasonable quote from Final Touch. Haven't gone ahead yet so can't vouch for them but could be worth a try.
my_e36 43 Report post Posted October 28, 2012 Depends on what sort of finish you are after and what exactly you mean by "good base". Considering a proper job is hours of work with specialist equipments (like a paint thickness gauge) and chemical, $800 is reasonable to achieve concourse grade finish. This guy charge even more for his "base package". (from UK, but still...) http://www.miracledetail.co.uk/ Have you consider DIY on this? Clay bar kit for $50 then 3-step system chemical can be had for around $100 plus elbow grease. Takes a full day of work.
