IIIRII 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2012 Apologies if the answer is already here somewhere obvious and I have missed it. Are E30 / 36 ti axles different lengths between the 4 and six cylinder engines ? As in I think 316 318 have a small case diff and the 320 323 325 has a medium case, therefore the axles should be slightly shorter ??? Is there a shorter axle again ? like from a large case diff , that will fit the e30 e36 ti hub Hopefully that makes sence Thanks
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted November 2, 2012 (edited) I run a E30 medium case with E30 M325 Axles. You need to modify the Abs speed sensors though and the chassis for the medium case diff to fit. You can give me a call or come and have a look at what I've done with mine. My cars at work Edited November 2, 2012 by *Glenn*
IIIRII 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2012 Hi Thanks, I think you have misunderstood the question The car doesnt run a bmw diff. Is there a difference in rear axle length between 4 and 6 cylinder E30's Thanks '
antil33t 90 Report post Posted November 2, 2012 E30 320i's have small case diffs, I have put a medium case diff in my car, and did not change the axles. the M325i ones are slightly thicker, though.
