nzer 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2012 hi, i have bought 51mm strut housings for my e30 bmw and a pair of second hand koni adjustable shocks. My question is when i put the shock into the housing there is sh*t loads of play up and down, when i put it together with a spring and compress it down the shock dosent extend in and out its just the play going up and down. is there suppose to be a rubber spacer at the bottom of the housing to let the shock fit snug?
