additional info - the PO has overheated the engine and it has a full longblock replacement about 120k kms ago for a cost of $18k!!

a following service sheet noted an "audible knock" and suggests faulty HVA's.

I can't watch the vid at work :-(, so haven't heard the noise...

What oil grade is in it? I doubt you could get anything that's too thin for it anyway.

Does it only make the noise at idle, or is it better / worse under load? is it rpm dependent, regardless of load?

It could be something as simple as the AC compressor or a belt/tensioner.

Does it at idle and does not go away withe rpms but is less noticeable.

Car starts up quiet then as it warms up the noise begins. Made noise with no AC belt.

I am hoping it is something like an idler or a belt but its difficult to determine exactly where its coming from.

Seems to reflect off concrete and out wheel arches.

I put some oil in it that was thinner and added a seafoam treatment - No difference.
