polley 916 Report post Posted December 9, 2012 (edited) Just picked up a E30 318 auto to do an engine swap on, so engine and gearbox are no longer needed. Gearbox is supposedly stuffed, but has forwards and reverse but I havent driven it down the road, it makes a whirring noise when in park, noise dissapears in neutral or forwards / reverse.
