jeffbebe 1560 Report post Posted December 13, 2012 I recently had my fuel injectors serviced. Found out one of the injectors had a fairly erratic flow pattern even after cleaning so a couple of days ago I replaced it with a perfect one. Since then the rough idle in my E39 has all but gone (still there but almost imperceptible). Could a single injector flow pattern have caused the rough idling or is it just a coincidence (i.e. the weather in the last few days has been significantly warmer so the car's not as cold in the morning). If the faulty injector was the cause, why didn't it effect it once the car was running at temp? Just interested.
