Gus 5 Report post Posted August 14, 2005 what you looking for? i find repco great however i never talk to them, and rarely actually buy bmw specific parts from them. i normally use dealer, or specialist places (ie brake and clutch, etc)

petone 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Yeah thats your problem, asking them for advice. Seriously half the people on this board would have more of a clue. Just go in knowing what you want. I had one idiot try and tell me my subs would use more power if my power cable was too big. Serious. Believe it or not Ripco is better than supercheap, (sorry ryan, might be different up in aucks) If you want decent advice just stick to the small privately owned shops. LNPSBMER 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 I deal with Repco everyday I find them real easy to deal with, although if you don't know exactly what you are after there are always only a couple of staff in every store who could really help you..... If you need any parts I can hook up... as for cleaning stuff Mcguires or Mothers tend to be the best for me...
aliluya 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Down here Repco is also so much better than super cheap ....
bimmer boy 21 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Im sure Repco is better with parts mainly because thats what they mostly do and that, it really depends on the persons personal knowledge and how they were trained. So i reckon its the person who serves you that counts not the shop, but yeah as said smaller shops like Wootons or something would be better. I reckon im ok with stuff like that, provided the person knows what they want or at least know what kind of car they drive rather than "a red one" so I can norrow it down a bit more haha. WANTED325iM 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Hey, I have worked at repco for about 6 years. We can get BMW specific parts at a OK price, but most likely the guy will be to lazy or ignorant to do anything. (i can sympathise however, i alway did when i was hungover in the morning)
