drpotato 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2013 Hi guys, I recently changed the seats in my E36 325i from some old ripped up ones to some nice, clean M-sport seats. The problem I have had since then is the airbag light comes on when the start is first switched on, and stays there for a couple of minutes. Fortunately I haven't had to get a warrant since I changed the seats, but I assume this would make it fail. Anyway - my mechanic ran a diagnostic on the ECU, and found that it was the airbag sensor not getting any power - this makes sense, because I have left the wires unplugged - the car seems to have a different connector to the seats I have put in there! The car seems to have a 3-pin connector (white/red, purple/white, brown), whereas the seats only have blue and white. Question is - what should I connect to what in order to get rid of the airbag light? I'm comfortable splicing wires, so no issues there. Cheers
