Grant 4 Report post Posted August 18, 2005 Sweet, I love big impractical American muscle cars. Hate to keep it gassed up at the moment though.
Guest Andrew Report post Posted August 18, 2005 This car needs no turbo or variable valve timing to produce the raw 500 bhp it has wrapped in a carbon fibre and composite body. and no the new m5 doesn't even need 8.3 litres to make 500 hp.. hah

Sudo 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2005 500hp out of an 8.3L V10 is dissapointing, but still a pretty cool car.
E30_318i 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 And you really think they tried to get all the power out of that thing as they could? That beast would have to be one of the most under stressed engines out there.

Grant 4 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 (edited) just try and tell me that these don't pwn. Just look at the pic, and tell me these don't look awesome. Big engine = cool, if you can afford one, you certainly don't have to worry about the fuel prices, and its efficiency (or lack thereof). E30_318i 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 Just like my Mercedes, not tricky sh*t, just relies on cubes a grunt. How f**king awesome.Dunno what so funny about that statement, the M20B25 doesn't come to life until 4k, and has a whopping 125kw at 5500rpm, 1000 before redline
BMW POWER 2 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 Viper or an M5 Grant? I mean that is just plain beast. But I'd much rather have an M5.
Grant 4 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 Viper or an M5 Grant? I mean that is just plain beast. But I'd much rather have an M5. Depends on my situation. If I had another 'normal' car to use every day, then I'd have the Viper hands down, no question. However, if I had to chose either a M5 or a Viper for everyday practical use, then I'd have the M5 hands down. Cheers Grant
Gus 5 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 badassness cant be read from a specifications sheet who cares if it makes about half the power per litre than an M5. just look at it. corners = meh american cars pwn

One for Friday night, and the other for Saturday night - weekend toys with the M5 pulling Daily duties (of course, the price of gas would be of no concern!!)
