NL1 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2013 Jsut picked up a 318ti for parts supposed to have a recondioned head and be a great runner but owner had lost the key .New key arrived from BMW $65 went to start and no go engine winding over quite slowly and a couple of backfires ,tried jumper leads etc but to no avail starter only sounds like it is getting half power have checked earth with ohmeter an all seems fine ,,,Any ideas Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) Could pull the battery and get it checked at your closest repco/supcheaps, if been sitting for a while may have toasted one.
