The brake numbers are meant to sum 50% of your cars weight.

They guess the weight of your car (as they don't know it) and pick a pass or fail on that basis. However, I don't know what the rules are for balance side to side.

Surely the workshop you went to could put a couple of welds into your exhaust to stop the leaks- thats if there not too big, otherwise I would probably recomend Pit Stop in Lower Hutt, by the Melling roundabout - they seem to be the most honest exhaust place that Ive used

How much did that set ya back? If something does pack up in the E34, I'd prefer the exhaust, then look at an after market option.

The E34 needs the windscreen taken out to a trace water leak, could be rusty, or could just need resealing, either way - $$$. Also oil change this w/e - $70

The Mercedes needs a over protection relay - $170, some c**t cracked the windscreen - $200 insurance excess at least, oil change soon - $120, and a full tank of gas - $140

Damn its an expensive hobby :mosh:

mmmmm e30 burn - auto getting looked at today - drinking 1L ATF per 200km. Car looks rangi as smoking down the road with all the fluid burning off the exhaust.

If its poked bring on a manual conversion....

$$$$$$$$ :D

If it is stuffed I'm gonna have great fun thrashing the tits off it in a paddock till it melts (or something like that).

Gotta love cars... Work truck blew a head gasket last nite......
