E39 Inspection II costs?

Recommended Posts

Hi Team,

Currently overseas and am planning my budget for the E39 on my return. Its due for its inspection II but unsure how much I need to budget off for it.

Can anyone give me a rough idea on cost assuming little needs to be done? $1500? $2000?

I would ring around but am overseas so it could get expensive.

Cheers for any feedback.

woooah.

I've never done a full inspection 2 as I choose to do alot of the work myself to ensure I get the best parts but i'd say more $1000 than $2k.

inspection 1 cost me $400 last time if I remember.

Anyone done one recently that can confirm?

It'll be going to an indy, thanks for your feedback guys. Ill put away a grand for it to cover any surprises. Its strange I seem to remember someone telling me the inspection II was expensive, 2k+.

Thanks again

You can ring up a dealer and get a ballpark figure, they should know a rough price but all depends on how maintained the car has been

numbers I gave were for a dealer (JC BMW) , feel free to pay more and get less from a non BMW repairer,

This comment does Not apply to the likes of BM Workshop who are excellent and currently do both of my cars. Last inspection 2 on the X5 was $450.00

450 would barely cover all the fluids!
