outkast 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2013 My engine died today in a lemon. fairly broke so an engine swap to an m50 is out of my reach. found e36 m42 but apparently need m42 loom and ecu from an e30 to be able to use the engine, anyone have one for sale? _ethrty-Andy_ 2122 Report post Posted June 28, 2013 Imported one from the USA, they are a dime a dozen there and worth scrap cable price. LHD and RHD is the same for this part. You could also use the E36 loom, but the ECU will be in the wrong olace, and you may need to shorten places.
